Kristen Hanlon is the author of the chapbook Proximity Talks (Noemi Press). Her poems have appeared in many venues, including Volt, failbetter, New Orleans Review, Interim, Aspasiology, Colorado Review, and Posit. During the first decade of the new millennium, she edited XANTIPPE, an annual print journal of poetry and reviews of small press and university press books. Currently, she works for a public health nonprofit and lives with her family in Alameda, an island city off the coast of Oakland, California.
