Zhimin Liu, famous magazine editor and artist, was greatly influenced by Chinese culture when she was young and began drawing traditional paintings of landscapes. However, abuse from her parents for years and the outrage of the Chinese Culture Revolution (1966-1976) had a great impact on what she thought. She started trying abstract paintings and created an unique style – abstract ink paintings. Her abstract paintings are full of emotion. You can feel happiness, anger, sadness behind them.
