Artist’s Statement: I am a photographer living in New Jersey and working NYC and the surrrounding area for locations. I am attracted to interesting people and places of visual complexity. I am fond of the artists Grant Wood, Andrew Wyeth, Edward Hopper, and Gregory Crewdson, among others. My work seems to meld well with poetry and literature and I have had some success in finding a home for my work in various literary magazines.
George L Stein is a photographer in the NYC/New Jersey area focused on capturing interesting juxtapositions and strong contrasts. He works in the art, street, urban decay, surreal, and alt/portrait genres.
