Guest Editor for Fiction: Karen E. Bender
Karen E. Bender is the author of the story collection REFUND, a Finalist for the National Book Award and shortlisted for the Frank O’Connor International Story Prize; her novels are LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE and A TOWN OF EMPTY ROOMS. Her stories have appeared in magazines including The New Yorker, Granta, Ploughshares, The Harvard Review, Zoetrope, Guernica, and others and reprinted in Best American Short Stories, Best American Mystery Stories and New Stories from the South: the Year’s Best. She has also won two Pushcart Prizes. She has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Rona Jaffe Foundation. Guest Editor for Creative Nonfiction: Jacqueline Kolosov
Jacqueline Kolosov‘s lyric memoir, Motherhood, and the Places Between, is forthcoming from Stillhouse Books in February 2017. Her third collection of poems is Memory of Blue (Salmon UK, 2014). She directs the creative writing program at Texas Tech University. With Marcela Sulak, she co-edited Family Resemblance: An Anthology and Exploration of 8 Hybrid Genres (Rose Metal Press, 2015).
