Marjan Khoshbazan
Time rushes past.
—A barren, earthy field
—catches its attention.
—It stops.
The snow,
—suspended in the air,
—keeps silent.
The ground
—falls into thought,
—dives deep
—inside itself.
Something molten
—boils within,
—almost reaching the surface—
—then is forgotten.
A few red stones
—roll down the slope.
